Sewing and Crafts Skills Program
The
Sewing and Craft Skills Program is equipped with residential sewing machines and
accessories. The
replacement of these aging machines and the addition of commercial
sewing machines is an urgent need.
Craft Skills such as Hand Embroidery,
Knitting, Cushion-making and Floral Arrangement
have all been taught in addition to Sewing and Garment
Construction.
Single parents, housewives, teachers, and
students have benefited from our classes. These classes are free and
anyone can enroll.
GO’s Sewing and Craft Skills Program has been
very popular and beneficial to the community, as many have been able
to use these skills to earn an income. We
would like to expand the program but we need funding to accomplish
this goal. Any donations
are greatly appreciated.
